SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

PRINT ADS

	Newspaper ad resolution is 200 dpi for photos, 800 dpi for bitmap graphics
	Magazine ad resolution is 300 dpi for photos, 1200 dpi for bitmap graphics
	Laser prints of your ad must be faxed to 317-263-5400 or delivered to your sales rep
	Printer, screen fonts, and images must be provided with open application files
	Do not use LZW compression on files
	Do not use "Stylized Fonts", they will not print correctly
	PDFs distilled using Acrobat distiller 4.0 (version 1.3 PDFs) are preferred
	Always embed all fonts on PDFs

Please Note: Transparencies created in InDesign and Illustrator must be flattened and saved correctly before PDF'd, (Refer to Adobe Manual). IBJ will not be held responsible for PDF files that are provided incorrectly

E-ALERTS

If submitting creative for any of IBJ E-Alerts please ensure you use the following specifications:
	Maximum file size: 35k
	Maximum animation time: 15 seconds total
	Maximum animated gif frames: 3 frames
	Acceptable file formats: gif or jpeg; No flash creative accepted
Please provide any hyperlinks associated with web ads in the "Additional Information" field.

If submitting creative for ibj.com please ensure you use the following specifications:
	Accepted file formats: gif, flash or jpeg
	Maximum animation frames: 3 frames
	Submit a minimum of 3 sizes
	Full Banner or Blog Square: 25k flash; 20k gif or 10k static
	Medium Rectangle, Leader Board or Wide Skyscraper: 30k flash; 20k gif or jpeg
